S4GA Online Webinars

This S4GA webinar is dedicated to the process of designing Solar Airfield Lighting in 4 simple steps. What these steps are and what kind of support S4GA provides – explained during the webinar by Mr Dmytro Kuczeruk.

An informative webinar for all AGL Designers, Airport Consultants, Airport Authorities, and other aviation professionals. You can learn more and find answers for questions such as:

  • Why should I add a solar solution to my AGL design?
  • How S4GA can support me in the RIBA stages?
  • What is a FREE trial of S4GA solar system and how can I get it?

All these and even more questions were answered by the host of the webinar –  Mr Dmytro Kuczeruk, S4GA Business Development Manager and expert in the aviation industry.

Is solar runway lighting feasible solution for my airport? And how to correctly evaluate the feasibility of a solar system? Find your answer in S4GA webinar!

More and more airports consider switching to green energy and implementing solar airfield lighting. The trend is rapidly growing, proving its superiority over traditionally used, wired systems.

However, it also brings a lot of questions:

➡ Is Solar AGL a viable solution for me?

➡ How to correctly evaluate the suitability of a Solar AGL for a project?

➡ How to be sure Solar AGL will be a long-term system for my airport?

During this webinar, Mr. Dmytro Kuczeruk – S4GA Business Development Manager and expert in the aviation industry – answered all of the above and other questions regarding Solar Airfield Lighting’s feasibility.

Watch  S4GA webinar and learn about Military Airfield Lighting Trailer.

The webinar is dedicated to S4GA solution for emergency and temporary operations at military bases – Portable Airfield Lighting System in a Trailer. During the webinar we introduce features of AGL system. Special attention is given also to a unique product that S4GA engineers designed for military customers – a portable WIRED airfield lighting system.

As you will see S4GA Airfield Lighting Trailer is a perfect solution for military airbases looking for a reliable, mobile runway lighting systems. It allows for easy and rapid illumination of temporary airfields, reserve airfield, and minimum operating strips. The Trailer complies with appropriate military environmental specifications. It is made of high-quality materials and can withstand repeated handling and transportation. S4GA Trailer accommodates a complete set of lights for illumination up to 2500 m runways in accordance with ICAO, FAA, NATO, EASA requirements.

Currently S4GA Military trailer is successfully used by one of the biggest Airforces in the World –  German Air Forces, Argentine Air Forces.

Webinar was hosted by Mr Dmytro Kuczeruk – S4GA Business Development Manager.

This Webinar is dedicated to the airfield lighting solutions that S4GA offers to military airfields and air bases:

S4GA military airfield lighting equipment is certified and compliant with ICAO, FAA, EASA, NATO STANAG . It is designed to operate in the most extreme conditions. The lights have passed multiple tests on photometrics, chromaticity, frangibility, jet blast resistance, ingress protection, and electromagnetic compatibility. Test reports and certificates are available on request.

S4GA airfield lighting is controlled remotely and can be activated via Handheld Controller, ALCMS computer interface, VHF, or manually via emergency on/off button.

The lights can operate in visible, NVG (Night Vision Goggles) and dusk till dawn modes. Light intensity is adjustable.

The webinar was hosted by Mr Dmytro Kuczeruk – S4GA Business Development Manager and Specialist in military airfield lighting systems.

This Webinar is dedicated to ICAO compliance of S4GA Solar Airfield Lighting systems.

In this Webinar we talk about ICAO regulations and explain why S4GA Solar AGL can be used as permanent system by Commercial Airports.

Airfield lighting industry has changed over the last decades. If 10 years ago solar runway lights were used as a temporary solution, today more and more airports would choose solar airfield lighting as a permanent system for their airports. Why? Because of numerous advantages that solar AGL solution has:

  • higher reliability,
  • lower investment,
  • fast and easy installation,
  • zero operating cost.

In this Webinar, we explain:

1. Typical cases when commercial airports use solar permanent runway lighting

2. Key ICAO documents regulating AGL

3. ICAO Compliance of S4GA Solar Airfield Lighting

The ICAO compliance of S4GA Solar Airfield Lighting Webinar was hosted by Mr Dmytro Kuczeruk – S4GA Business Development Manager.

This S4GA Webinar is dedicated to Backup Runway Lighting for International Airports.

During the Webinar we present S4GA solution for international airports that are:

  • under runway rehabilitation works
  • struggling with an unreliable primary AGL
  • struggling with unreliable mains power supply.

For such cases, S4GA offers solar airfield lighting system – a cost-saving and cost-effective solution that operates 365 days on solar energy.

Benefits of Solar Runway Lighting have been discussed during the Webinar:

  • quick installation
  • easy maintenance
  • availability 24/7
  • close to zero operational costs
  • compliance with ICAO / ADM

The Backup Runway Lighting for International Airports Webinar was hosted by Mr Łukasz Kornacki – S4GA Business Development Manager and Expert in Aviation Infrastructure.

This S4GA Webinar is dedicated to the installation and maintenance of Solar Airfield Lighting.

During the Webinar, we explain the main stages of installation of solar AGL and present the benefits of S4GA solar lighting solution.

Total time required for installation, testing and commissioning of solar AGL are 20-30 working days. Maintenance of S4GA solar airfield lighting includes only cleaning solar panels and replacing the batteries when needed. Airport personnel is always notified in advance about upcoming maintenance by S4GA ALCMS.

S4GA provides full technical and after-sales support for its Customers. We provide onsite training for airport engineers, online training, video tutorials, manuals and technical specification documents.

The Installation and Maintenance of Solar Airfield Lighting Webinar was hosted by Mr Dmytro Kuczeruk – S4GA Business Development Manager.

This Webinar is dedicated to Control and Monitoring of S4GA Solar Airfield Lighting. During the Webinar we explain fundamental principles and differences between airfield lighting control in traditional wired systems (powered by 6.6A grid) and in S4GA wireless airfield lighting powered by solar energy. We also describe types of wireless networks and the benefits of using the S4GA Mesh type radio network.

A detailed overview of S4GA ALCMS is given later in this webinar. ALCMS is an Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System designed to provide full remote control and monitoring of solar LED runway lighting from the TWR or maintenance room. S4GA ALCMS provides individual light status display that allows airport engineers to monitor the health of every lighting unit in the system. ALCMS also notifies engineers about upcoming maintenance (e.g. replacing batteries or cleaning solar panels) and reports about light failures.

The Control and Monitoring of S4GA Airfield Lighting Webinar was hosted by Mr Łukasz Kornacki – S4GA Business Development Manager and expert in the Airfield Lighting Industry.

The webinar is dedicated to redundancy airfield lighting system and its benefits for high-traffic airports.

As you will see, the main benefit of solar redundancy AGL  is saving money from cancelled flights caused by a sudden loss of runway illumination. During the webinar, real case studies of RWY lighting failures were presented where airport financial losses from such emergencies reached $ 250.000 – 1.000.000 on average. By having S4GA solar-powered AGL installed on the runway, the airport could save this money.

Among many other benefits of redundancy AFL system should be mentioned: annual savings on electricity and reducing carbon emissions. These benefits were also presented and discussed at the webinar.

The Redundancy Airfield Lighting Webinar was hosted by  Mr  Łukasz Kornacki – S4GA Business Development Manager and expert in the Airfield Lighting Industry.
