S4GA Airfield Lights are equipped with individual solar panels. The solar panel for SP-401 is optimally tilted for maximum energy generation. It guarantees fast charging of a power bank integrated into a lighting unit. In this way, S4GA Airfield Lighting operates 365 days a year on solar energy.

SP-102 Solar Taxiway Light

SP-102 taxiway light is equipped with a standard built-in deep-cycle battery which can be stored locally. The battery is powered by 5W solar panel connected to the light via cable. A separately installed solar panel is optimally tilted to maximize solar energy collection. Additionally, SP-102 taxiway light can be powered by OCT-102 Charger.

Every SP-102 aviation light can be upgraded to solar-powered portable airport light. SP-102 solar light is a self-contained fully autonomous lighting unit. Charging time via solar panel is only 8 hrs which means that during one day the light is fully charged and ready to operate for the next 36 hours. Optimal inclination of 5W solar panel ensures maximum energy collection during daytime.
